A big and continued focus of our attention here at DeskDirector is on making it super easy for your clients to use and adopt DeskDirector.
That's why we are launching another, even easier, way to allow clients to log in to DeskDirector Web.
With the new Global Magic Token feature you will be able to include a special link on emails from your PSA (ConnectWise or Autotask) that once clicked, will not only take the client to DeskDirector but also log them in.
Importantly this link doesn't include the user's email or password, so cannot be guessed.

Hi, and welcome to another One Minute Wednesday. Now, one of the things we’re always working on DeskDirector is making it really easy for your clients to be able to log in and use DeskDirector. And that’s why today we launch an even easier way for them to be able to log in. With DeskDirector’s global magic token feature, you’ll be able to include a link on all emails that come out of ConnectWise or Autotask that not only takes them to DeskDirector, but logs them automatically in the process. Let’s take a quick look at how we turn that on. From the DeskDirector admin console, come into Passwordless, scroll to the bottom of that screen and you’ll see Global Magic Token. Click Enable Global Magic Token and you’ll see two links: the first one will take them to DeskDirector and log them automatically, the second one will not only log them in, but also take them to a specific ticket. So all you need to do is put these into emails that ocme out of your PSA and clients will automatically log in. Hopefully you can see how that will make it really easy for your clients to be able to log in and start using DeskDirector.
