Video transcript:
Hi, and welcome to another one-minute Wednesday. In this episode, we’d thought we’d take you through how you can pop out client console from an email. That way you could send an email out to your clients. They would click it. It’s going to take them straight to the ticket in DeskDirector. Let’s get into it.

Okay, so let’s come into notification templates. Go to the service desk tab, and we’re going to edit the notify customer of new ticket creation. We want to make sure we set them to the HTML, come over to the HTML tab, and add a link that looks like this. HTML gurus will know exactly what this does. Okay, here we are over in ConnectWise editing an email template. This time—and the only difference is instead of using ticket ID, we use SR number wrapped in square brackets.

Okay, search for URL linking in our knowledge base to know more about this, and if you want to know how to stop those annoying words coming up from Outlook, there’s also some information on how to do that as well. I hope you have a great a week and bye for now.
